No regulations to keep Oxford House from Jackson neighbourhooh

Cassie Smith a resident of Northeast Jackson says she worries about her four small small children living in a neighborhood with alcoholics and drugs addicts living at 22330 East Northside drive. The
Oxford house was opened April 1.
Neighbors of the Oxford house have been collecting signatures on petition in opposition to the Oxford House .
However , there is nothing they can do to prevent the Oxford house from operating in their neighbourhood because it is not a business .
According to Oxford House , they have rules and regulations which should be abide by their residents for them to continue staying in the house . These are they should have jobs within two weeks of admission. Pay their weekly rent , there are guidelines regarding curfew , visitation and behaviour . Someone who is found to be using drugs or alcohol again will be asked to leave within 15 minutes .
